Havent been blogging for quite some time.
Let me spend my 15 minutes study break to blog whatever I should blog.
Done studying with Chem and next will be Math. Let me breath for a moment.

So,
University started 2 weeks ago and college started this week.
It's AWESOME to meet back BFF & friends in CC and make new friends in SFU.
I'm taking 4 courses, that basically get my soul hell out of me. Sigh!
Organic Chemistry II, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, Calculus II and Physics II.
Thought of dropping one but unfortunately, NON can be dropped.
I need all of these to do my third-year courses. Sigh!

Class starts as early as 8.30am [Math] and ends at 4pm [Phy] every ODD day.
Day off on EVEN day except CC's physics class [3-4pm].

Prof for all my 4 courses are AWESOME. Lucky!

MBB = With Scott Briscoe. So much better than last sem's MBB prof.
CHEM = With Dr. Nabyl Merbouh [wanted him since last sem], pretty strict, but with good teaching technique - entertaining & easy-understandable.
PHY = With Dr. Vladan, best physics teacher I ever had. =]
MATH = With Dr. Veselin Jungic.
He was once awarded with 'Excellence in Teaching Award, University Award, Simon Fraser University, 2007', and other awards.

Quote from SFU's site:

And thats true.
Surprisingly, I neither yawn nor feeling sleepy in his 8.30am class, WITHOUT any coffee and time flies in his class. =]

Been busying with course work and assignment so that I can keep everything on track, if not I'll be in a real big trouble! All the memorization, understanding part, and application are KILLING me softly.

OH! Another reason for taking all my dislike-courses is because of the coming 2-weeks-Olympic-break!!! 28 more days!
Sister and I are running away from the Vancouver Winter Olympic 2010, running away from all the transportation/human traffic jam.
So, HERE I COME, Paris and London!!!! =] *excited*
Not done with my "homework", London's trip plan. OH NO!
Will complete it once I'm done studying math. =D

Im done with Thusday,

finished off the OC's lab as well as the lab report that due next 2 weeks! =]

that was a YIELD lab and as expected, I screwed up (not only me) and my percent yield was only 27%. WTH!!!

I'm done with everything except for the Genetics' midterm (next Friday) and OC's midterm following week after Genetics.

And I'm so lucky that I have holiday on Wednesday (Remembrance Day), a day before midterm. Extra day to study! *long holiday - no school on tuesday, wednesday, and an-hour-morning-class on thursday*

P/s. I'm gonna feel sooooooooo bad if I don't score for Genetics midterm as I have so many holidays to study!!!!! >.<

Thank god. For all the 3 courses' midterm, I'm above the class average.
If im below = im dead!

But still, I screwed up my OC's midterm mainly because I let my guards down. Overconfident I can say. *sigh*
And, i got unexpectedly high for Ecology's & Genetics' midterm which I was really nervous at.

Ecology's class average was 25.8/40 and I got 31.5/40.
Genetic's class average was 58.44/100 and I got 80.25/100.
*Birthday present from SFU as I got my result day after my bday.*
OC's class average was 8/12.5 and I got pretty low (above average).

I was expecting a little higher for OC's midterm, but, unfortunately, I SCREWED UP!
and I was expecting like 50-60% for both Ecology and Genetics. Fortunately, I DID GOOD!

Moral of the story: Do not be overconfident for whatever reason even if you're 101% prepare for it.

MIDTERMS 2 are COMING!!
I need to score for all of them! GO GO GO!

Ecology's midterm's mark was SURPRISINGLY high;
Organic Chemistry's midterm's mark was SURPRISINGLY low.

What the hell is happening here?

The only reason i can think of is that I was over-confident with the OC midterm and less-confident for the Ecology.
That led me to study really really hard for Ecology and study less for OC. SIGH!

I swear this will never ever happen on me again!

Finished the Genetics midterm on Wednesday.
Was pretty suckz i can say. Overload questions for 50 minutes.
Cant wait to know the class average marks as my sister told me that the normal class average usually is around 40%. LoL!
And the bonus (worth 1 mark) was....

double the amount of students attended this party compared to last sem's.
I saw (with Tran and Tramy) the whole process of a guy spilling in front of us while waiting for the washroom. SHOT! It was SUCKs!
This party was whole lot funner than last sem because Tran and Tramy were there!
the party was actually got police involved because the students were drunk and caused lots of trouble to the residence and the party ended an hour earlier than it supposed to.
when the polices appeared at the front entrance, we (underage) left through back entrance. LOL!
no vodka for me this time. THANK GOD!
is good to meet back my CC's friends and miss them soooooooo much! Will go back CC more often!

ooppssss .....
for the first time i skipped Chem tutorial this morning.... *not purposely though!!!*

The TA told us last week that he will be so busy marking our exam and the tutorial will be cancel this week.
BUT, yesterday after the exam, he told the class "see you guys tomorrow"....
I was like... "HUH? What?!?!" Because of the crowded-ness, I didnt manage to ask him again.

I emailed him yesterday morning about the tutorial and he only replied me this morning (9.30am) and the tutorial is at 10.30am and I need at least an hour to go SFU.
So, right now, just woke up and blogging at 10.10am........... =.=

I'll prepare for the lab for later at 2.30pm...... Sigh!

Class average mark for the Ecology's first assignment dropped from 22 to 21.8 (out of 30). LoL!

and, YAY!
I got full marks for my Genetics' first assignment. xD
Midterm coming soon [next week].

Organic Chem's first midterm was not so bad.
Too many questions to be solved in 50 minutes.
I can say that thats a two-hour-paper.
Questions were pretty straight forward.
Hope can get an A for the midterm.

p/s: currently blogging at SFU with the rent-laptop while waiting for the Frisbee practice at 7pm.

wished that there's no chemistry tutorial every Thursday so that my "friend" will not have the chance to copy my notes & answer. He is such an extreme damning lazy ass hole to the max, I wonder what has he been doing all the while!!!
*p/s - is not that im mean for not helping him, is just that he is not even helping himself out.*

will have a really long weekend (Saturday - Tuesday) because of the Thanksgiving on Monday and like usual, no class on Tuesday.

CC's party on this Friday, same place, same timing as last semester. Should I go? Most probably going because of the long weekend!

Daddy & mummy promised will get me one when I finish my 2nd year [next year], but unfortunately for them and fortunately for me, their current laptop experiencing failure in operating, so, they will get the Macbook earlier than what I had expected [Lowyat trip tomorrow].

They will use the Macbook first and exchange it with my laptop when I get back home [next year].

Persuading parents to get the MacBook Pro instead of MacBook.
Is either I will save up money to pay them back the extra or as my birthday present. LOL!!

SINIMASE!
For leaving the blog dead last week...

Nothing to blog specifically.
Just some random stuff.

I dropped my phone on the way to bus stop and spent an hour looking for it (skipped Genetics class). When I was about to give up, was so pissed off at that moment, I kicked a bunch of dry maple leaves. And there you go, the phone was underneath the leaves. SIGH!! (Can u imagine how hard is to find the phone as both the maple leave and my phone is red. =.=)

Regret for not changing Ecology to some other course. I read the text book everyday and understands everything (almost) but when it comes to question, I'm DEAD! Is all about memorization and application. Anyways, I will try my best.

Missed Frisbee's practice for the 6th time (including today) - due to the bad weather and dinner. SIGH!!! *wanna play frisbee soooo badly*
