~ pilot course ~

im so headache on choosing which academy or airline should i apply for pilot course !!!
arggghhhhh ....

for academy - most probably APFT and HM aerospace ....
for airline - most probably SIA if can ..
- MAS dont accept female (i guess)
- AirAsia - requirement too high for me ... T_T

then ....
headache about the job vacancy in the future ....
it will be a great choice if i can enter direct pilot course that conducted by the airline itself ....
so that we can get the job guarantee ......

if enter the academy ...
after getting the CPL (commercial pilot license) ..
gotta wait for few months till 1 year mayb more to get a job ....
some more im a girl ler ... haiz (the chances lower ??)

to keep current (active) your CPL license while waiting for jobs....
every 3 months must at least 3 departs and 3 landings using the same aircraft ...
after graduated, where to get the plane to "fly" ???

the requirement .....

MAS
-Malaysian citizen, age between 18 to 30 years old (as at date of application)
Qualification :
-Must possess Malaysian ATPL or Malaysian CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL and obtained a minimum Aviation English Level 4
-Pass SPM or its equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government with 6 credits including Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, Physics or General Science taken at one sitting ; OR
- Possess Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science related disciplines with CGPA 3.0 and above AND 6 credits with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia in SPM
- Candidates who has completed all ground school examination is also eligible to apply
- Recommendation letter from flying school would be an added advantage
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Medically and physically fit with good eyesight and not colour blind
- Not less than 163 cm (5ft 4in) in height

AIRASIA

1.) Malaysian citizen, aged between 18 and 28 as at date of application.
2.) Either:

  1. Passed SPM (or its equivalent that is recognized by the Malaysian Government) with at least A2 in English and Mathematics and B3 in Physics taken at one sitting. (Those from the Arts stream should have at least an A2 in General Science); or
  2. Possess a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science-related disciplines with CGPA 3.0 and above and at SPM level scored at least a B4 in the subjects mentioned above taken in one sitting.

3.) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.
4.) Must be physically and mentally fit with good eyesight (visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind. Should be able to successfully pass a medical examination up to a Class 1 standard conducted by a Department of Civil Aviation Authorised Medical Examiner (DAME).
5.) Minimum height of 163 cm (5ft 3in).
6.) Be prepared to sign a training bond with a surety.

SIA
  • Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident or Malaysian Citizen
  • GCE ‘A’ level, Polytechnic Diploma or Degree. In addition, you must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics, taken at one sitting
  • At least 1.65 m in height
  • Visual acuity of at least 6/60, correctable to 6/6. For candidates who have undergone corrective eye surgery (e.g. Lasik), your pre-surgical visual acuity should not be more than 500 degrees (myopia)
  • Medically fit

therefore ... now targeting for SIA pilot course !!! hehe
i'll or i have to study hard (T_T) to get good result for my O level (pre-u) ...
ESPECIALLY PHYSICS !!!!!!
